YEREVAN. – About 1,190 subvention programs were implemented in Armenia, from 2018 to 2021. This was announced during Monday’s meeting—chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan—of the interdepartmental commission for the evaluation of subvention bids for the development of economic and social infrastructure of the communities of Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am learned from Deputy PM Matevosyan's office.

Matevosyan highlighted the use of this tool by the government to promote community development in Armenia, and stressed that it has achieved real and tangible results.

Also, the deputy premier instructed to carry out monitoring after the end of each subvention program in order to identify the problems and resolve them.
