YEREVAN. - Accusations against Armenia of being involved in the death of 13-year-old Azerbaijani girl are so unfounded and absurd that are not worth being refuted, said Armenian top official.
Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan commented for Armenian News-NEWS.am on another wave of anti-Armenian sentiments recently spread in Azerbaijan on death of a teenager.
“Obviously, the main purpose of such unfounded accusations and wave of hysteria is further aggravation of anti-Armenian and racist propaganda carried out in the highest level in Azerbaijan which deepens distrust between the parties,” he said.
The official stressed that such moves of the Azerbaijani leadership are aimed at sowing hatred against the neighboring country to avoid responsibility towards their own people and ruin the negotiation process.
