Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Brussels on Sunday for the third time since the beginning of the year to again protest against restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic, and to demand the resignation of the government, RIA Novosti reported.   

This time, the action is being organized by United Belgium for Freedom public movement. The organizers are collecting signatures to apply to the Belgian House of Representatives (Parliament) to initiate a procedure for dissolving the current coalition government of Liberal Alexander de Croo.

Among the main demands continues to be the abolition of the coronavirus certificate, without which one cannot visit restaurants, cinemas and sports halls. In addition, the protesters oppose the compulsory vaccination that Belgium plans to introduce for medical personnel.
