A tragic road accident took place Monday in Tavush Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reported.

At around 1:10am, a car went off road on the Ijevan-Gandzakar motorway and crashed about 30 meters into the iron barriers on the roadside.

The driver died on the spot.

A criminal case has been filed on this accident.

It was found out on the spot that the driver was Albert Arakelyan, 32, a resident of Ijevan city, and today was his birthday. The fire and rescue workers who arrived at the scene pulled his dismembered body out of the car.
