YEREVAN. – Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) has no intentions to dialogue on snap elections, Armenian ruling Republican Party MP Manvel Badeyan told at a press conference.

“Concerning the discussion of the issue of snap elections, ANC states that they should be held, while authority states the opposite. Where is the essence of the dialogue in this contest? Hence, if there is a dialogue, it means that there are other issues to discuss,” he stated and added that authorities have set different goal.

Armenian authorities want to establish tolerance in political atmosphere. Though opposition and authorities have quite different goals, people will benefit from the results of the dialogue.

Badeyan believes that the real goal of ANC to dialogue with authorities is to participate in the ‘decision-making’ process, as ANC representatives are sure that neither elections nor massive protest actions can lead them to the power.
