On February 11, a Mercedes and a Volkswagen had collided on the Martuni-Vardenis motorway of Armenia.

As a result, a passenger of the Mercedes had died, while the two drivers and three other passengers had suffered injuries and were taken to hospital.

And on Monday, the Martuni city police department received a call from the hospital that Anahit Sargsyan, 65, a female passenger who was hospitalized as a result of the aforesaid road accident, had died at the intensive care unit—and without regaining consciousness.

An investigation is underway.
