The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan continues to often disseminate disinformation about the Armenian armed forces firing at the Azerbaijani army units’ combat positions on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. The MOD of Armenia on Saturday issued a statement in this regard.

In particular, late Friday evening, the Azerbaijani MOD released a statement claiming that on the same day, units of the Armenian army had opened fire on Azerbaijani military positions located in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The MOD of Armenia calls on the MOD of Azerbaijan to refrain from its “working style” of disseminating inaccurate information on the border situation, and notes that such “working style” in no way contributes to the establishment of stability on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
