YEREVAN. - Nations, not states have diaspora, Secretary of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov stated, commenting on Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s “impressive” remark that “Armenians are Turkey’s diaspora”.
“What cynicism one must have to make claims to the Diaspora, which formed as a result of genocide and forced displacement,” Sharmazanov stressed.
