YEREVAN. - U.S. Embassy in Armenia refuted the reports on leasing “Erebuni” airport.
“U.S. government has no plans taking “Erebuni” airport on lease,” the press service of the embassy informed Armenian-NEWS.am.
According to Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper, talks on leasing Erebuni airport are held between U.S. government for military-transportation purposes.
It is noteworthy “Erebuni” airport is used for military purposes.
