French police carried out an operation against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Paris, reported the Turkish Taraf newspaper.
The police searched the PKK Cultural Center, which is believed to be the party’s financial center. The policemen found documents and detained several people.
Nedim Seven, the PKK's “black box” is to be tried in Paris on October 21 in connection of his extradition to Turkey. Last year Nedim Seven was arrested in Italy while trying to leave for Armenia with a forged passport. About 40 PKK members have been arrested in France. Turkey officially requested France for their extradition.
