YEREVAN. – The dialogue between authorities and opposition yield result. As Armenia does not face the atmosphere of political hatred anymore, head of Liberal Democratic Party Edward Antinyan told the journalists on Wednesday.
However, he believes no snap elections should be expected from the dialogue. It takes place only when the state faces obvious political crisis. Armenia is not in such state.
According to the politician, the dialogue may weaken the opposition. It is fact that people leave the state after elections as they are not satisfied with the results. However, people continue to leave now. This means that people no more trust the opposition. Otherwise they would wait for the elections for a change. Opposition is responsible for the migration before the elections and authorities after it, Antinyan emphasized.
Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) threatens that he would call people to start rallies, in case authorities fail to hold snap elections. However, people were on the streets before that and ANC told them to go their homes. Where is the logic, Antinyan asks.
