YEREVAN. - The national team of Armenia’s federation of alpinism and mountain tourism climbed 5033 meter high Mount Kazbek and waved the Armenian flag on its peak.
Armenian mountain climbers Garegin Unusyan, Levon Movsisyan, Hasmik Manandyan, Ani Khachatryan and Monar Movsisyan climbed Kazbek on August 8, the press service of the federation informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Earlier, the Armenian team had climbed Iran’s highest Mount Demavend (5671 meters).
