MOSCOW. - Armenian citizen detained in Kirov District of Leningrad region of Russia on suspicion of murder.

On July 25 in Shlisselburg city a 50-year-old citizen was hospitalized with closed head injury, brain injury and broken ribs. The man died on August 4, reports 47News with reference to Russia’s Interior Ministry press service.
 
The operative-search activities resulted in the arrest of two unemployed citizens, one of which is a citizen of Armenia. According to police, the investigation revealed that on 25 July in Shlisselburg in the apartment of the victim the two men beat the victim, pulled him into the street and continued beating, then fled the scene.

Criminal proceedings were instituted under Article 111, part 4 of the Criminal Code (serious bodily harm that caused the death).Both suspects are detained.
