YEREVAN. – Spokesperson for the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Arman Musinyan made an irresponsible statement saying the expedience of the dialogue between ANC and incumbent authorities depend on determination of young ANC activists’ status, member of Republican Party of Armenia Gagik Minasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Referring to the 4th round of talks between oppositional Armenian National Congress and the authorities, as well as ANC-presented 85-page document  on snap presidential and parliamentary elections, the MP stressed the working group is being  prepared and will present a relevant document at the August 16 meeting.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Spokesperson for the ANC Arman Musinyan told a press conference on Monday the ANC will decide on the expediency of further dialogue with Armenian authorities, unless their status is determined before the next round of the dialogue on August 16.

“The three young activists of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), detained in August 9 incident, are political prisoners. It puts an obstacle to the dialogue with the incumbent authorities. However, there is still 24 hours. We will specify our actions till tomorrow,” Musinyan noted.
