YEREVAN.- Armenian life-term prisoner Emil Verdyan went on hunger strike on Tuesday in Nubarashen penitentiary.
Representative of Justice Ministry Gor Glechyan confirmed information for Armenian News-NEWS.am. Verdyan’s move is connected with the criminal case, he said not disclosing the details.
He also said Emil Verdyan was not taken to separate cell as he had not submitted an official applications. Other convicts have not joined Verdyan’s action.
