There were no Azerbaijanis in a bus carrying Armenian tourists which fell into gorge in Georgia on Thursday, adviser to Armenian Embassy in Georgia Hovsep Karakhanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He said the majority of injured passengers have been discharged and left for Armenia. The bus was carrying 29 passengers, mostly Armenian citizens, there were also Georgians and Russians.

“Nineteen injured were taken to hospital. Six-eight Armenians remaining in hospital are not critical,” he said.

A bus carrying Armenian tourists fell into a gorge on Georgia’s Kazbegii-Tbilisi highway on Thursday evening.
