YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan met with staff of Armenia vessel on Tuesday, after they made journey around the world.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed content with successful completion of a fact-finding mission, stressing its significance in terms of preservation of Armenian identity and cultural values, the presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Referring to the contacts with representatives of Armenian communities worldwide, President Sargsyan noted. “The Armenian communities’ desire to be in touch with is once again indicated the importance of this work.”

The leader of the expedition Zori Balayan told President Sargsyan about their achievements, as well as difficulties and hardships they faced during the journey.

The members of the expedition handed the Armenian flag, the book on Armenian freedom fighters in Karabakh war to the Armenian President.
