YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan met on Wednesday with the crew of “Armenia” which has recently returned from its tour around the world.
“We are glad that the designed project was fulfilled, you held a lot of meetings with representatives of the Armenian Diaspora, visited centers of Armenian culture around the world, which once again reminds us about rich heritage created by our people all over the globe,” said Sargsyan.
Leader of the expedition Zori Balayan told Premier Sargsyan about their achievements, as well as difficulties they faced during the journey.
“Armenia” vessel’s epic world trip, started on May 18, 2009 in Spain’s Valencia, ended in Cyprus after more than two years’ round-the-world voyage.
