YEREVAN. - Chief of Armenian Police Alik Sargsyan forbids policemen to hang his portrait in their offices.

"Undoubtedly, the portrait of the president should hang in the offices, I also have one in my office, this is something symbolic. But there were also my portraits, in civilian clothes, in one photo I still had the rank of Major-General in the other I am a Lieutenant-General. I do not need this and during recent collegial meeting I forbid to hang my portraits and photos in offices,” said Sargsyan.

According to him, in normal countries generally no one knows the Chief of Police.
