YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced the other day that "there is an agreement to sign a peace treaty and carry out delimitation of the borders [with Azerbaijan] by the end of the year," and that this agreement was reached on September 27 of this year—during a meeting at the White House with the assistant of the president of Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that [Armenian] Nikol Pashinyan has expressed the diametrically opposite opinion. Speaking in recent days among narrow circles about the peace treaty, he has said that it will not be signed this year, and it is not known at all when it will be signed.

It remains to be understood whether Nikol Pashinyan is once again deceiving some people with promises to surprise by putting a signature overnight, as he did on November 9, 2020, or the fate of the [peace] treaty is truly still unclear.
