YEREVAN.- Lyova Melkonyan is appointed acting chief of Armenia’s road police after former chief was detained, representative of police Ashot Aharonyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He said that Margar Ohanyan has not been dismissed yet.
A source told Armenian News-NEWS.am, Ohanyan will be dismissed within hours to be replaced by Colonel Arthur Margaryan. According to the source, Margaryan is a confidant of police chief Alik Sargsyan.
