STEPANAKERT.- Nagorno-Karabakh has combat ready army, which accomplishes its mission with credit and is always ready to solve any military task, said President Bako Sahakyan in his statement  on the occasion of Republic’s 20th anniversary.

“The continuous strengthening of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army and defense capability of our state is among the pivotal goals that have been in the spotlight of the authorities.

Throughout centuries our nation has been dreaming to restore its lost statehood, have free and independent homeland and take its worthy place amid the international community.

And for already 20 years we have been embarked on the course of building democratic, civil and independent society and statehood, the course we consider to be the only correct one,” he said.

According to him, another important achievement is the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity.

Bako Sahakyan called on all people of Nagorno-Karabakh “to bow down to the memory of the brave sons of the Armenian people who sacrificed their lives for our homeland’s bright future.”
