YEREVAN. – Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan had a working discussion with representatives of the World Bank Group Friday. The World Bank (WB) delegation was headed by Sebastian Molineus, WB South Caucasus Regional Director, and Carolin Geginat, Country Manager of WB for Armenia.
Minister Khachatryan lauded Armenia’s productive cooperation with the WB and reaffirmed the Armenian government's readiness to strengthen this cooperation and to expand its scope, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The regional director of the WB, in turn, emphasized that Armenia is a reliable partner of the WB and is one of the best countries in terms of credit portfolio performance. He assured that the WB will continue to assist the Armenian government to reach a higher level of partnership in the implementation of reforms.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of matters related to the progress and prospects of the Armenian government-World Bank cooperation.
