YEREVAN. - Armenia will not have political prisoners in the face of Tigran Arakelyan and authorities-opposition dialogue will continue, said opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) member Gurgen Yeghiazaryan to a press conference in Monday.

‘‘We will continue the dialogue not because the authorities are very kind and democratic, just on the contrary, we have to push them because they have neither political will nor means to save the country and change its current state. Should they not need the dialogue, they would keep to their previous positions,’’ said Yeghiazaryan, adding that the opposition do not have an ultimatum yet, but it certainly will.

The other speaker, MP from the ruling party Lernik Aleksanyan assured that the dialogue will be resumed, since the people and particularly ANC need it.

‘‘ANC is not presented in the Parliament and the dialogue is an opportune platform for them to express their standpoints,’’ said the MP.
