YEREVAN. – The WikiLeaks disclosures are not accidental phenomena. The latest “WikiLeaks publications” refer to the activities of Armenia’s 3 presidents and certain nuances of the political system, and, perhaps, they are conditioned on the imperative of heating up to the utmost the already-given start of the coming elections and protracting as much as possible the Armenian political configuration in connection with the 2013 presidential elections, Aravot daily writes, citing National Assembly’s independent MP, Victor Dallakyan.
“In terms of political battles, tension and resistance, the 2012 parliamentary elections will be unprecedented, together with different allusions coming from certain states which pursue their interests, and, perhaps, it is in this context that we must observe WikiLeaks’ latest publications whose political dosage, in parallel with Armenia’s election processes, could greatly increase, enrich with new sensational revelations, and have a serious impact on Armenia’s domestic politics, including future political configurations.”
