Philippine authorities have ordered the military to beef up its presence in the South China Sea, citing a threat to the garrison in the disputed waterway because of China's activities, AFP reported.
Any invasion or reclamation of the West Philippine Sea is a threat to the security of Pag-asa Island, the Philippine Department of Defense said.
