YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is the main conductor of current political processes, member of Sardarapat initiative group, participant of Karabakh war Zhiraryr Sefilyan mentioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

“Serzh Sargsyan intensifies or lessens the tension of inner political sphere in Armenia based on personal calculations. It is not hard for Sargsyan to outbid majority of the supporters of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC),” Sefilyan believes.

He also stated that ANC by its participation in those processes ‘supports’ the intention of the president to control political filed and prevent any unpredictable processes before the 2012 parliamentary elections.

Armenians will witness complete decomposition of ANC before the upcoming parliamentary elections. People that gathered around the opposition leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan do not differentiate from those who are in authority. These people also strive for being rich. Thus, Armenian president will face no difficulty in outbidding them. As a result Armenia will again have the same bad parliamentary elections in 2012 as it had in 2007, Sefilyan stated.
