YEREVAN. – A rockslide occurred on Monday at the 10th-km portion of the Goris-Kapan section of the Armenia-Iran international highway.
The firefighters and rescue teams who arrived on the scene discovered that, as a result of the rockslide, a 5-m2 section of the road was closed and the traffic had become one-way, Armenian Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Thanks to a joint effort by the firefighters, rescue teams, and OSMAR Company workers of Goris town, the highway was cleared and opened for complete traffic on 9:16 p.m. of the same day
