YEREVAN. - Armenian MP-businessmen intend to ballot in the 2012 upcoming parliament elections. However, they are worried that ruling Republican Party decided to exclude businessmen from legislative body.

In response to the question whether MP Armen Purtoyan will stand for the upcoming parliamentary elections, he responded to Armenian News-NEWS.am that everything should decide the party.  

In case majority of the party decides that businessmen will not participate in the elections, then he will accept viewpoint of the majority.

Another MP Grigory Margaryan had no idea that the upcoming elections will only be half open for businessmen. He stated that he is not a businessman but first of all an MP. Margaryan intends to stand for the elections.

MP Ashot Aghababyan also intends to stand for the parliamentary elections.

“If the party council makes such a decision, then I will not participate in the elections,” MP-businessman said.

MP Nahapet Gevorgyan commented on the worrying issue that he would think only when time comes.
