YEREVAN. – Multi Agro company is not preparing to raise dairy product prices, the company’s president Roza Tsarukyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “I’m working for 10 years, this is the 11th year; I’m working with the same price when I had entered the market. There is only a change in the milk bottles; we changed their shape. Not the milk product, but rather the packing has become more expensive,” Tsarukyan said.
Nonetheless, the price of milk has risen in the past one year.
According to Tsarukyan, they currently purchase milk from farms at a price of 180 drams (48 cents US)/liter instead of last year’s 100 drams (27 cents). And in response to the question as to how, then, are they able to maintain the same sale price for this dairy product, Tsarukyan noted that Multi Agro is a diversified company, and this enables profit planning.
