YEREVAN. - Armenian society marked a dramatic change for the better, Romania’s Ambassador to Armenia Crina Prunariu said at a press conference on Friday.

“I came here 4 years ago and changes are obvious to me,” said the ambassador, adding that, there is certainly plenty of work to do for the improvement and development of what has been achieved.

Drawing parallels with Romania, the Ambassador said that her country was not a pattern of democracy 20 years after the revolution, even though the progress came faster. 

The diplomat also congratulated the Armenian people on the 20th anniversary of independence.

“Congratulations on a great successful holiday. Let Armenian people continue the path of independence and successfully overcome all the challenges. Happiness, health and prosperity to you!” said Prunariu.
