YEREVAN. – Former head of Road Police Margar Ohanyan gave concrete testimonies against Police Chief of Armenia Alik Sargsyan, Armenian Zhamanak (The Times) newspaper writes.

Margaryan described Sargsyan’s business activity and property. He, in details, informed how money from bribes circulate in the police system, how criminal cases are instigated and closed.

The head of the Special Investigative Service of Armenia Andranik Mirzoyan refused to confirm information, the newspaper writes. Mirzoyan added that even if Ohanyan had given testimonies, anyway investigation will not reveal information. Thus Mirzoyan confirmed reported information, the newspaper concludes.
