YEREVAN. – A call was received from Armenia’s Ararat Region, on Friday at 8:10 p.m., informing that an automobile had rolled down onto the valley from a bridge at Artashat-Yerevan highway.   

A unit from Armenia’s Rescue Service arrived at the scene. A Volkswagen Golf had had rolled down,  under unknown circumstances, onto the valley from a bridge at Artashat-Yerevan highway, and, as a result, the automobile had caught fire. The fire was extinguished at 8:27 p.m., Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As a consequence of the car accident, Arpine Hakhverdyan, 29, lost her life. The driver Manvel ,50, and Gagik, 29, and Gohar, 4, Avetisyans, as well as Nazik Melkonyan , 52, and Manvel Avetisyan, 4, received physical injures and were taken to hospital.            

According to physicians, the injured are in average condition.
