YEREVAN. - A huge car accident occurred in Armenia’s capital Yerevan on Sunday.

The 261 route minibus collided with the Renault of Markiza Taxi Service, Armenia’s Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As a consequence of the crash, Renault’s driver Ashot Minasyan, 54, lost his life on the spot.  The minibus’ passengers Arthur Hayrapetyan, 21, Gayane Khachatryan, 40, Gegham Abelyan, 36, Greta Aleksanyan, 43, Sergey Adilyan, 50, and Gohar Aleksanyan, 40, received physical injures and were taken to hospital.            

According to physicians, the injured are in average condition.
