YEREVAN.-Repair works at the Georgian section of pipeline heading to Armenia are underway, spokesperson for ArmRusGazprom Shushan Sardaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The company keeps in touch with the Georgian side but the deadline of renovation works is not clear yet. At the moment Armenia is supplied with gas on the account of reserves of Abovyan underground gas storage. The Georgian side will inform when these activities are completed.

The natural gas supply to Armenia temporarily halted last Thursday. Linked to renovations at Georgian capital Tbilisi’s bypass motorway, the Georgian company is planning on connecting a new section of the main gas pipeline.
