YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Nairit Rubber Factory owes 4-month salary to its workers.

No decision is yet reached on the timetable for paying these debts, the Company’s press secretary Anush Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, preferring not to release the exact amount of these debts.

In November 2010, the Company’s workers held protests in front of the Armenian Government Building and Presidential Palace, and, on December 20, the Company’s management stated that the debts would be fully paid by June 29, 2011.     

Nairit Rubber Factory is the only one of its kind in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
