YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has not yet reached a decision on its party list for the parliamentary election, RPA MP and press secretary Eduard Sharmazanov said during a press conference on Monday. In his words, the Party’s decision will be made public during its next congress, in November.  

According to news circulated in the press, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan will head RPA’s campaign headquarters and PM Tigran Sargsyan will be at the top of Party’s electoral list.    

Sharmazanov refrained from making any comments before the publicizing of Party’s official position, but did note that he did not rule out any development.   

Armenia’s parliamentary elections will be held in May 2012.
