YEREVAN.- A seminar, devoted to new juridical developments in the domain of competitiveness, will be held from September 27 to 28 in UN Yerevan office. The event, which will bring together Armenian judges and EU experts, is organized by the Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC) and EU Twinning Programme.
During the seminar, Armenian judges will discuss the legislation on competitiveness and best EU work methods. EU-member-country experts will deliver presentations on “Prohibition of Anticompetitiveness Agreements,” “Abuse of Dominant Position,” and “Legal Regulation of Centralizations,” as well as European Court of Justice cases and rulings on unsubstantiated prices.
The discussants will subsequently examine 2 cases, referring to the aforesaid topics, on which ASCPEC had conducted proceedings and the Administrative Court of Armenia had delivered a verdict.
