YEREVAN. – In case Armenian oppositional Heritage Party wants to cooperate with political powers it will take into account not to whom it cooperates with but for what purpose, Heritage Party MP Armen Martirosyan said at the hearings “Pre-election tendencies in Armenia and cooperation opportunities between political powers.”

Cooperation should be long-termed, however. Regarding pre-election processes, MP believes that activity by the international structures, especially EU, should have a positive impact on the election processes of Armenia. Besides, the facts published by WikiLeaks will also accompany the election process.

Another peculiarity is that both authority and opposition have an inner struggle. Armenia faces for the first time such an evident struggle between oppositional powers. Heritage party is open for cooperation but it should be exclusively long-termed. Moreover, the party will cooperate not with somebody, but for something.

Heritage will make an ally with those powers that share the same viewpoint as Heritage: to make Constitutional amendments by establishing Armenia as parliamentary state, recognize Karabakh independence, and call back Armenia’s signature from Armenian-Turkish protocols.

The party will have its next congress at the end of the year and will solve some issues in connection to electoral processes.
