LOS ANGELES. – Armenian national committee of America (ANCA) (Western region) discusses decisively the visit of Ottoman military orchestra to Los-Angeles on October 3, Asbarez newspaper reports.

ANCA puts into question the irresponsible decision of the city authorities to allow the group’s performance, which confirms its origin from mortal corpus of the Ottoman army famous as janissary. The character and planned performance of the orchestra is not only harmful but also quite inadmissible for the Armenian community in America.

ANCA is insistent in achieving justice in the Armenian Genocide issue, including its recognition by the U.S. and Turkey. Besides, no one has the right to terrorize inhumanly the victims of the genocide and the inheritors, reads the statement.
