YEREVAN. – Erebuni Precinct of Armenian Police Force received an information, on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., that a man was killed.

The police squad that arrived on the scene discovered, in an automobile parked in the area of a stone processing facility, the body of the facility’s manager Shaliko Yeghinyan, 73, with traces of head injuries caused by a blunt instrument, Police Force’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Suren B., 57, subsequently called the Precinct at 11:20 a.m., informing that, at around 10:30 a.m. and during an argument over the organization of the facility’s activities, he hit Yeghinyan over the  head with an iron crowbar. 

The crowbar was discovered as a result of the examination of the scene of the incident.

A forensic examination is commissioned and an investigation is underway.
