YEREVAN. - Armenian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Yury Khachaturov will be relieved of his position, Zhoghovurd daily writes.  

“According to informed sources, the order on Khachaturov’s dismissal is already prepared, and what’s left is for [President] Serzh Sargsyan to sign it once having returned to Armenia. This information was unable to be clarified from MOD because they said there that [solely] the President is authorized to appoint or dismiss the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Serzh Sargsyan is still in France,” Zhoghovurd writes.
