YEREVAN. - The US dollar/AMD exchange rate made AMD 373/$1 on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, Thursday. Taking into account the fact that no foreign currency transactions were registered on Wednesday, US dollar went up by 3 AMD as compared with Tuesday.

It is the sharpest fluctuation registered in 2011. US dollar was depreciating in Armenia’s market over 10 days falling from AMD 376 to 370 per $1. Most likely, US dollar reached the minimum reduction point. Banks abruptly limited selling of US dollar which led to sharp fluctuation.

Sales totaled only $100,000 which also testifies to indefiniteness.
