YEREVAN. – Official opening of “Armenia: Your Partner 2011” international economic fair was held on Friday at capital Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The event will continue until October 2.  

Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony, Government Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The fair brings together representatives of around 200 local and foreign companies and organizations dealing with healthcare, agriculture, tourism, insurance, industry, innovative and information technologies, construction and food industry, and they will display in excess of 500 products. After the official opening, the representatives informed PM Sargsyan about their activities and introduced their products.      

The economic fair aims to boost trust toward Armenian products and services in local market and establish new business ties, which will positively impact Armenia’s economic growth.  

Another of the event’s priority plans is to stimulate Armenian producers in terms of export. The fair will also be a good opportunity for investors.
