YEREVAN. – Several hours after start of the opposition’s sit-in on Friday, the police entered all cafés nearby Armenian capital Yerevan’s Liberty Square and instructed that they be closed immediately, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily writes.

“Specifically, video camera of the daily’s news reporter recorded the police at Jazzve café, immediately after which the café’s manager, who until then was saying they work until the morning, approached the customers, announced that they are closing, and asked them to leave. And only 10 minutes before Jazzve’s closing, the Meghedi café was closed, too,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily writes.
