YEREVAN. – Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) made a statement.

“Taking into account the principle of people’s participation in the process of decision making and pursuing the objective of making the future of Armenia the property and responsibility of each Armenian citizen, ANC proclaims round-day rally at the Liberty Square in Yerevan into national civil forum.”

The forum aims to:
-Thoroughly and comprehensively discuss and develop policy development in Armenia, touching all sectors
- Enable every citizen to participate in developing the policy
- Build a common vision for the future of Armenia
- Maximize the use of existing capacity in the community in developing the concept

The working format:

Industry groups will operate in the Square for 4 days and each of them will present projects elaborated by the Congress and public hearings will be initiated. Besides of the elaborated programs important themes referring to the industry will be discussed. These are healthcare, external politics, ecology, education and science, culture, defense, economy.

Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier informed that ANC declared 24/7 rally on September 30. ANC headed by the Armenia’s first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan demands for snap presidential and parliamentary elections. Meantime ANC stated readiness to continue the suspended dialogue with the authorities.
