YEREVAN. - Revenues of state budget of Armenia for January-August 2011 amounted to AMD 552.1 billion (about $ 1.5 billion), expenses - to AMD 566.9 billion (about $ 1.53 billion).
According to Armenian Ministry of Finance, the 8-month program is fully implemented and government agencies are able to completely fulfill their obligations.
Compared to the same period of 2010, Government revenues grew by 9.7%, expenses by 7%.
92.7% of state budget of Armenia was accumulated through taxes, government fees and compulsory social security payments, 5% formed from other sources, 2.2% - due to government grants. The growth of tax revenues is mainly attributable to increased income tax, value added tax and customs duty.
