YEREVAN. – Armenia registered many fatal road accidents this year.

According to the commander of the second battalion of  the Armenian Road Police Vardan Nargizyan, Lori Region registered 92 accidents during 9 months. As a result, 23 people died, 136 were injured.

In comparison with last year, the number of the accident reduced to 23, while six more people died and 16 more were injured. Fatal crashes are registered mainly in Armenian Gugark and Tumanyan, where the vehicles are falling into the river. The number of accidents can be explained by lack of traffic signs as well.
