At least six people died and 80 others were injured in a fire that broke out in a nursing home in Milan, Italy.

The fire had started late Thursday night, and efforts were made until the morning to put it out, ANSA news agency reported on Friday.

There were 160 people in this nursing home, 81 of them were hospitalized, and two of those hospitalized are in severe condition.

An investigation has been launched into this fire.

The investigators are not considering the possibility of arson yet, Radio-1 noted.
