YEREVAN. – There is no special importance whether the dialogue between oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) and authorities will continue or not, anyway no issues concerning the state are going to be settled, parliamentary opposition Heritage group MP Armen Martirosyan said on Thursday.

As a result of the dialogue, product prices will not go down in Armenia, he noted.

“The dialogue serves only to establish relations between the two political powers. Besides, it is a process for the settlement of the inner political issues. Whether the dialogue will be resumed or not depends on the sides. Both sides get benefit from time and if they have no intentions to gain time, then the dialogue will not continue,” Martirosyan added.

Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier that ANC suspended its participation in the talks and will resume it only after the ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan is released. However, ANC during the round day rallies offered to resume the dialogue, while authorities rejected it by demanding to end the illegal rallies in the Liberty Square.
